That does not mean we avoid CMS platforms. It means we first look at what you actually need: who needs to edit content, how often it changes, which features are essential and how much long-term maintenance you want to carry.

You can still edit content without a heavy CMS.

A CMS is useful when multiple editors need frequent content changes, workflows, permissions and structured publishing.

But if your editing needs are simpler, there are lighter alternatives. Content can be managed through structured files, Git-based editing, a lightweight headless CMS, a small custom admin screen or a simple update process handled by Colabs.

The goal is not to avoid a CMS at all costs. The goal is to avoid CMS complexity when it does not add enough value.
